GoldRush Nugget Ring
The GoldRush Nugget Ring is made from 18ct Fairtrade Gold. Each cluster is supported by a double band allowing the seemingly just mined gold to stand proud. All clusters are formed in the designer's workshop; due to the organic structure they allow the gold to take as it melts, no two pieces will ever be the same.
Part of The Rock Hound's GoldRush Collection; they are passionate about responsible sourcing and are always striving to achieve a greater transparency between mine and market. GoldRush was their first fully Fairtrade collection. Each ‘nugget’ is painstakingly formed by hand making each step of the supply chain fully traceable. By creating ‘nuggets’, The Rock Hound take the gold back to its original, organic form, enabling them to present the gold similar to how it is found by the miners. This has a truly powerful impact and forms a deeper understanding and connection between mine and market.

They only use artisan lapidaries and gemstone sources which match their ethos. Since 2023 The Rock Hound now creates all their silver jewellery with AgAIN silver salvaged from medical X-Rays. This not only provides a traceable source of recycled silver meaning no new large-scale mining is needed but helps tackle a part of the medical industry’s waste
