Each gemstone chosen as an exquisite example of colour, clarity and saturation. Combining traditional techniques with state of the art technology allows them to really push the boundaries of design.

Since 2023 The Rock Hound now creates all their silver jewellery with AgAIN silver salvaged from medical X-Rays. This not only provides a traceable source of recycled silver meaning no new large-scale mining is needed but helps tackle a part of the medical industry’s waste. Once the silver is stripped from the X-Rays the PET can then be recycled whereas previously it was going to landfill.

For the first time this AgAIN silver is now combined with traceable Fairmined Gold through gold-plating bringing a luxurious gold vermeil finish to their new HotRocks Alchemy Collection. Proving The Rock Hound is a leader in ethical innovation.
