Sun Ae is an independent, contemporary ceramic artist based in London. She is interested in creating narratives using contemporary satirical stories found in ceramics, with a specific focus on European Figurines from the 18th and 19th centuries. Ceramics that expressed social issues of the day inspire her to create modern interpretations. Her ceramics are both art and storytelling and we are delighted to welcome Sun Ae Kim to The Boutique at La Maison Couture.
