We are very excited to welcome Richard Brendon, London based designer and British bone china specialist, to The Boutique at La Maison Couture.

Richard takes a holistic approach to designing, believing that to produce truly innovative products a firm understanding of what has gone before is essential. He is constantly researching ceramic styles, from the last 300 years; this, combined with his inquisitive nature, has developed his skill of identifying the best elements from the past and reinterpreting them to create insightful and contemporary designs.

We are featuring two of Richard’s very unique collections. In his Details from Willow range Richard has brought the traditional and iconic Willow Pattern into the 21st Century. He observed the most beautiful elements from antique piece of Willow Pattern china to inspire his refined and contemporary range that has been created for both modern and traditional environments. The range celebrates brilliant white English bone china and classic cobalt blue. It is available with burnished gold accents and is perfect for everyday use or for the most formal of occasions.

Also available in The Boutique is the cutting edge Paternity Reason range which sees Richard Brendon and pattern visionaries, Patternity, joining forces to warp perceptions of what British bone china can look like. We love the mirrored platinum tea and coffee cups which reflect the pattern of the saucer they are sitting in.
