Eyptian born Azza Fahmy, is the Middle East’s leading jewellery designer, renowned for breaking down the barriers of tradition.  In 1969, Azza became the first woman in Egypt to be allowed to train as an apprentice with the masters in old Cairo’s jewellery quarter, Khan El Khalili.

She was awarded a fellowship by the British Council to further perfect her art by studying Jewellery design and Manufacturing in London.  Today, forty years later, she is internationally recognised as the leading jewellery designer of the Arab world and Egypt’s first designer brand. Most recently, she has designed collections for fashion designers Julien McDonald and the Autumn / Winter 2010 collection for Preen.

Azza’s signature hand-crafted collections comprise of two lines.

Culture – an intricate mix of sterling silver and 18kt gold with precious stones, focussing on hand crafted metal work with filigree and decorative calligraphy.

Exclusive – Exquisite Limited Edition pieces in 18kt & 22kt gold featuring precious stones from diamonds to garnets, emeralds and rubies.
